<p>The 5 star Milnerton Golf Course is a true urban classic links course located on a narrow strip of land between Wood Bridge lagoon and the Atlantic Ocean in Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa. The course was established in 1913 as a 6-hole golf course and was later transformed into a World championship course by Golf Data Design Company. </p> <p>Milnerton GC is a spectacular golf club with panoramic views overlooking Table Bay and breath taking views of the Table Mountain, Lions Head, Robin Island and Blouberg Strand. The 18-hole golf course at Milnerton Golf Club covers an estimated 6100 metres and plays to 72 pars on the Atlantic beachfront. The greens are seeded with a special hybrid of bent and annual meadow grass while the fairways are plated with Kikuyu grass. </p> <p>Milnerton GC is situated on a fairly flat terrain, opposite the lighthouse in Woodbridge Island, a thriving district 10 minutes’ drive north of CBD Cape Town. As a result off its close proximity to the open ocean, wind is always a major play factor at this course. </p> <p>MGC is believed to be one of the best true links golf course in Southern Africa.
